The Town of Blackfalds Community Peace Officers enforce local bylaws and provincial law, with a focus on traffic control and public safety. They also work closely with the Blackfalds RCMP Detachment to ensure that we have a safe community.
The municipal bylaws that address many common concerns including excessive noise, parking of vehicles and trailers, use of all terrain vehicles, and unsightly premises are:
- Land Use Bylaw
- Community Standards Bylaw
- Animal Control Bylaw
- Traffic Bylaw & Bylaw Amendment
- Solid Waste Management Bylaw
Bylaws are enforced on a complaint and observance basis. Report your concerns by contacting the Community Peace Officers or submit a Complaint Form.
For development and community standards complaints, please fill out and submit a Development & Community Standards Complaint Form.
Complaints and concerns regarding animals, such as a barking dog or pets running at large may be directed to Animal Control Services.
