Public Notice - Land Use Bylaw Amendment (1205.16)

LUB Amendment

Council of the Town of Blackfalds has given first reading to By-law No. 1205.16, the purpose for the purpose of amending the Land Use By-law.   The map below shows the lots located in McKay Ranch at the east edge of Eastpointe Drive being changed from R-1S (Residential Small Lot District) to R-1M (Residential Medium Lot District), R-1S (Residential Small Lot District) to R-2 (Residential Multi-Dwelling District), from R-2 (Residential Multi-Dwelling District) to R-1M (Residential Medium Lot District) and from R-2 (Residential Multi-Dwelling District) to PF (Public Facility district).

A copy of the proposed By-law and all public documents applicable to the proposed Bylaw may be inspected at the Town Office during regular office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. 

The Town Council will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office, 5018 Waghorn Street, Blackfalds, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 commencing at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of receiving comments from any interested parties on the proposed Bylaw amendment.

Any person present at the Public Hearing wishing to make a presentation will be given the opportunity to do so.  If unable to attend the Hearing, a person can submit written comments to the Town Office.  Such comments must be received by the Town no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the Hearing.
