Don’t Be Alarmed (without a Permit!)

Did you know that as of January 1, 2017, an Alarm Permit is required to operate an alarm system in the Town of Blackfalds, for both residents and businesses?

Permits will be available at the Town Office at 5018 Waghorn Street at a cost of $10 for either residential or business.
Permits are non-transferrable to a new building or to a new owner. Any change in residence or location requires a new permit and must be renewed yearly. A fine of $100 will be charged for failure to register and obtain a permit for an alarm system.
