Town of Blackfalds Releases Relaunch Plan

posted on May 15 2020

Blackfalds, Alberta (April 27, 2020) – On April 30, the Province announced the Alberta COVID-19 Relaunch Strategy, placing a priority on the health and safety of the public.  This three-stage plan allows for a gradual reopening of businesses and activities and getting Albertans back to work.

To ensure we are keeping within the Provincial relaunch framework, the Town of Blackfalds developed its own municipal strategy that mirrors the stages the Province has put in place.

This relaunch strategy follows Province of Alberta and Public Health guidelines and aims to promote the health and  safety of our community, open municipal facilities and continue to provide services that everyone depends on.

Watch the latest press conference with Mayor Richard Poole, Director of Emergency Services Director Ken Morrison and Marketing and Communications Manager Miranda Cooper regarding re-opening facilities and recommended guidelines at youtu.be/NctGNJ2IRV0.
