Blackfalds residents are set to Clean Up

Blackfalds, Alberta (April 29, 2019) – As the winter grey starts to make way for spring greens and colours throughout Town, residents of Blackfalds are encouraged to pitch in and help clean up the community.
“Clean Up Blackfalds is a great opportunity to volunteer some time to help make our community shine this spring,” states Mayor Richard Poole. He adds, “What makes Blackfalds such a great place to live is that so many step forward to help each other and their Town.”
Clean Up Blackfalds is an FCSS initiative that bring friends, family and neighbours together in our community. You are encouraged to find your old work clothes and gloves and help make the community shine.
Volunteers can contact FCSS Blackfalds for all the details. Once you touch base and pick a time you can help, you will be assigned a cleanup area. All supplies will be provided. Clean up efforts will conclude on May 11, 2019 with a little token of appreciation for all the volunteers who committed to making and keeping our community clean.
You are asked to register and pick up your clean up supplies at Family & Community Support Services, 5016 Waghorn St. For more info contact: FCSS 403.600.9066 fcss@blackfalds.com
