Town Office

In following the Province of Alberta’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Town of Blackfalds facilities are closed as of 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2020 until the tentative date of May 15, 2020. More information can be found at Coronavirus Information for Residents.

Residents can access many municipal services at the Town Office on the second floor of the Civic Centre. Pop in between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday for assistance with utility accounts, building permits, business or animal licenses, and much more.

Council Chambers

Council meetings and public hearings are held in the Council Chambers, which are located on the second floor of the Civic Centre. Community members are always welcome at these events.

Blackfalds Public Library

In following the Province of Alberta’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Town of Blackfalds facilities are closed as of 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2020. More information can be found at Coronavirus Information for Residents.

Community members are invited to take advantage of the many programs and services available at the library. 

Youth aged 18 and under can obtain an annual library card at no cost. The rate for adults is $15 and $10 for those 60 years of age or older.
