2021 Municipal Census

Everyone counts in Blackfalds

Count yourself in for the Blackfalds Municipal Census from March 1 to 31, 2021!

Between March 1 and 15, 2021, take two minutes and complete the online census and enter for a chance to win a tablet valued at $1,000!

Residents will receive their PINS by the end of February.

Renumerators will be coming by to those residents who choose a more personal, albeit, face-covered visit.

The 2018 Census Report puts our population count at 10,125. The 2021 Census aims to achieve the desired results of population growth since 2018. where the Town’s rough estimate will be close to 11,000.
The cost of this modified census is expected to be well under the initial budget.

Through a municipal census, information is used to assist the municipality in planning for the needs of the community such as future roads, the addition, and locations of schools, parks, utilities, protective, fire, and other services.
