The Enhanced COVID-19 Business Benefit will start in mid-April and will provide funding to eligible small and medium businesses most affected by the pandemic and ongoing public health restrictions. Payments will be calculated based on 15% of the eligible business’s monthly revenue, up to a maximum of $10,000. Full details can be found at Enhanced COVID-19 Business Benefit.
A reminder that SME Relaunch Grant will close to applications March 31, 2021. The program was expanded in February to include new businesses opened in the last year and to unregistered sole proprietors.
The Federal Government programs available to business owners can be found at Canada's COVID-19 Economic Response Plan. Please note that last week announcements were made to extend several of the programs that were expiring in the next few months.
