Media Release - Town of Blackfalds establishes process for identification of weather-related property damage
Beginning Sunday July 25, 2010 the west entrance to Blackfalds from Highway 597 and Vista Trail will be closed to traffic for the next three weeks due to road construction. Large trucks coming to businesses on South Street and Vista Trail will be accommodated by a detour through the area. All other traffic is encouraged to use Highway 2A entrances at Indiana Street, Park Street and Gregg Street and then proceed to East Railway Avenue and South Street to reach businesses on South Street and Vista Trail. Temporary Road Closure of Township Road 40-0 from Hwy 2A Intersection to RR 272 (Broadway Ave. Ext) June 14, 2010 to July 31, 2010 for Highway 2A Upgrades. Broadway Ave extension (Range road 272) going north will be limited to local traffic only both north and south of TWP 40-0. It is recommended tha...t traffic going north from the Town use Gregg Street to access Highway 2A.
