The Municipal Development Plan is a statutory document adopted by Council for the purpose of guiding planning and development
of land use within the Town of Blackfalds. The Plan addresses the components of future land use, development framework, intermunicipal development co-ordination,
transportation, provision of municipal services and facilities, policies regarding sour gas facilities, and policies respecting municipal and school reserves.
