The Town of Blackfalds collects your waste every Monday or Wednesday of each week depending upon location using a private contractor (Can Pak Environmental Inc.). A schedule of pickup dates is on the web site or can be picked up at the Town Office. If you have questions on garbage pickup, you can call the office at 403-885-6242.

To ensure that your garbage is picked up, it must be out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled pick-up day. Check the schedule below for more information on pick up days..

Garbage is picked up on all statutory holidays with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Your garbage is usually picked up at the back of the property in the back lane. If you don’t have a back lane it is picked up at the front. The waste containers or garbage bags must be situated on the property line.  Click here for the2010 Garbage Schedule
