We are a community that shares and respects each individual’s beliefs, resources, preferences, needs and associated risks in a cohesive and nurturing environment. Our geographic boundaries set the official lines to define our corporate limits, although we maintain a close relationship with our Lacombe County residents. Our community has taken on a life of its own as people have become free enough to share and secure enough to get along.
Recreation, Culture, and Parks Needs Assessment & Master Plan
The Town of Blackfalds has been working towards the development of a Recreation, Culture, and Parks Needs Assessment & Master Plan. This planning document will help guide the delivery of these valued services and assist with future decision making. Potential design concepts for All-Star Park have also been developed to identify future amenities and components that could be included as part of a future expansion and enhancement to the site.
Key strategic themess from the Master Plan and the design concepts for All-Star Park were available for review at a public open house on October 14th at the Abbey Master Builder Centre. To ensure that all residents have a chance to view the materials and provide comment, please review the display materials.
You can also provide your feedback by completing this short online survey on or before 5 p.m. Oct. 29th.
